Your regional television broadcasters have entered into new program supply agreements with different metropolitan television networks.
Each of the regional television broadcast companies purchase programs from metropolitan television networks. These are known as program supply agreements.
Over the past 30 years, the regional broadcaster, Southern Cross Austereo has held a programming supply agreement with the metropolitan TEN Network and the regional broadcaster, WIN Network has held a programming supply agreement with the metropolitan Nine Network.
These two program supply agreements expire on 30 June 2016.
In a number of regional markets, Southern Cross Austereo has entered into a new supply with the Nine Network and the WIN Network has entered into a new supply agreement with the TEN Network.
These supply agreements start on 1 July 2016 and will mean that SCA will broadcast Nine Network programs and the WIN Network will broadcast TEN Network programs.
